Whatsapp rolls out a new feature, now you can quote.

You all will agree with me that Whatsapp is one of the few social network that comes with a visible add-on in every upgrade it gets.

This time around, their new upgrade makes me want to scream: dear, by your word thee be snared! (quoting the scripture ridiculously, don't mind me), and speaking of quoting, on the latest Whatsapp, that's beta version of WhatsApp (v2.16.118) you can quote!.

This feature which actually works for both group and personal chat come in very handy especially in group. Let's say you desire to reply a person's post in the group, you can actually quote the person thereby making the reply more specific.

If you don't have the Whatsapp version earlier stated, go and download it, if you do already, let's go.

How To Quote
-Select the desired message with a long press.
-Now look at the top bar, you'll see an arrow pointing left, tap on that arrow.
-Now you'll see the quoted text showing up with your message.
Like in the below picture

The above is for those on the Android platform, albeit iPhone users can do the same, but on the iOS version, after long-pressing on a message, you will see the ‘reply’ option which is meant for quoting.

iPhone users are already seeing this feature implemented. Make sure you update your WhatsApp to v2.16.6. The desktop version (WhatsApp Web) does not have this feature as at now, though it's expected.
