Watch out! Snaptacle is coming! (Snap Chat Involved)

Lol... Let me guess, what came to your mind when you saw 'snaptacle' Spartacus? Lol, I thought as much, well it remains snaptacle as this isn't a movie but rather, this is reality speaking!

But wait o, what was I thinking when I wrote snaptacle? Nothing like that exists! At least to my knowing. This article is actually all about snap chat.

Welcome the all new Spectacles, Snap Chat' first hardware product.

Earlier this week, on Friday the the eventual actualisation of the innovation was made known. The sophisticated hardware which is simply referred to as Spectacles actually are not the normal N200 own you buy at main gate, not the designer ones either, these set of spectacles are actually high tech inclined.

The pair of glasses come equipped with camera running a software that makes recording of video and transfer/syncing of it wirelessly to smartphone possible with just a tap.

What initially appears to be a normal pair of sunglasses turns out to be Spectacles, the first hardware product from Snap Inc., as the firm has been newly christened (Spiegel is refreshing the company name because its offerings now go beyond the Snapchat app). When you slip Spectacles on and tap a button near the hinge, it records up to 10 seconds of video from your first-person vantage. Each new tap records another clip.

The 26years Old CEO,Spiegel, who had actually studied product design at Stanford but dropped out before convocation said he had actually been working on the 'Spectacles' for years, but he actually refer to the hardware as a toy which he believes would come in handy at casual gatherings like birthday parties and likes.

The 115° angle pair of lens are to come with lights around it in its packaging, expectated to be rolled out for sale before the year's end. The price it will be going for is said to be $129.99 and Spiegel intend making distribution limited.

Well here's my take on this : it's a great innovation! Nice one.

It's going to definitely trend as I believe with time the price will come down, and it has a lot of PROs like a more comfortable recording, recording is going to be more accurate and more...

But I see one con, maybe there's a manoeuvre set for it though, else, what about when the person wearing the gadget wants in on the video? Ugh? 😟

And I believe you know now how I came about coining the nick snaptacles for the gadget.

Over to you, what do you think?
