Etisalat Increases Data Prices ( Sane or not?) *MTN bypass updated

Please this peopleare confusing me, is it that they are confused or bewitched? Either way this is outright ridiculous! While we're still yet to chill from the excitement Glo spurred a while back in the increase in the data allowance they allocated to N1,000 and N2,000 sub, etisalat rather than brace the stakes decided to run in something annoying. They increased their Data plans prices!

New Data Prices
•1GB for N1000
•1.5GB for N1200
•1GB + 500MB night plan for N1000
•2.5GB for N2000
•3.5GB for N2500
•2GB + 1.5GB night plan N2000

Outrageous!!! Right?

Well even their old data plans:
•1.5GB for N1000, dial *229*2*7#
•3.5GB for N2,000 dial *229*2*8#
•4GB for N6,500 dial *229*2*3#
•8GB for N8000 dial *229*2*5#
•10GB for N10,000 dial *229*2*5#

Still couldn't stand against Glo's

Which is an upgrade to Their earlier data plans upgrade

The last network to have increased their price almost insignificantly was Airtel and a deep look at their Data system shows they have the best MB maximization aids as for the now.


Well I just got me 2GB for N500 this evening using Data doubling Tweak on MTN.

Well if you ask me, I will say they are jonzing and no way I am snoozing with them.

I have been receiving series of messages on WhatsApp asking if I really meant I got 2GB with N500, yes! I did! N1000 will eventually fetch me 4GB! You will see a picture proof below. Somehow sha, none of you bothered to comment, would have believed none read, have I ever left any of your questions via comments unanswered?

Well, this is what I did.

•I activated my sim for double data via the earlier stated tweak.

•To run 2GB for N500 you've got to be on MTN pulse!

•Now, y'all know that MTN data plan that gives 750mb valid for a week at the rate of N500? Yes, that's the plan I used.

•Chill, here's what you don't know. On MTN pulse, you actually don't get 750mb for the plan, it's a perk of being on MTN pulse that you get, 1024mb instead, no jokes. But of course you don't expect that they publicise such.

•Now, after making sure you are on MTN pulse and have activated your SIM for double data, go ahead and dial *123# follow the prompts to weekly data plans and choose the N500 data plan. You will be charged N500 and given 2048mb in total, valid for a week.
